The Seattle Cascade take on the San Diego Growlers Saturday April 14, 2018 at 7:00pm at Seattle Memorial Stadium. The Cascades are coming off a thrilling 29-28 win over the Minnesota Windchill.
A back-and-forth game that could’ve gone either way, the Cascades took the win thanks to their “high energy offense and defense”, according to Cascades’ Ryan Hendrickson. “It [the offense] really pushed us to get that last goal.”
Heading into Saturday with a 1-0 record, the Seattle will rely heavily on the offense to get the points quick against a hungry San Diego team. The Growlers are looking to get their first win of the 2018 after getting routed by the L.A. Aviators, 30-17, last week. Hopefully the Cascades will be able to find the open person quick, easy and often in this struggling Growler defense.
Six players will be making their debut in the AUDL on Saturday. Kodi Smart, Qxhna Titcomb, Robby Anderst, Charlie Eide, Steph Lim and Cameron Baker will be taking the field for the first time for the Cascades.
The home stand begins at 7:00 under the Space Needle. Get your tickets on the Cascades website. Youth tickets are five dollars, adults are ten, and kids are free.
