Fun Fact

The Towel: Sometime in the early 2000's my club team Skyline was supposed to go to nationals (it was very very hard to qualify from the northwest back then) but we lost the game to go. Under my jersey, I wore a tank top with "we're going to nations" printed on it. After that game, I was so determined to get to the top of the sport that I started using the tank top as a towel and had it with me for EVERYTHING. Every workout, every practice, every game. It literally had blood, sweat, and tears on it, from me and many teammates (yes I did wash it regularly). I kept it with me for all things frisbee, tucked in the back of my shorts like a towel until I was part of the gold medal-winning team in 2012. At that point, it was tattered and it had served its purpose... however, I was so used to having it that I needed something like it! So for each team, I had a tank top towel. The current towel is actually a towel, embroidered with the UG logo thanks to a teammate's mom.
